Next steps
Once the IPW engagement period has concluded, ISED will consider all the feedback received and begin working toward the following:
- Publication of final IPW spectrum policy framework
- Publication of list of available licences in the 1900 MHz Personal Communications Services (PCS) and 800 MHz Cellular (Cell) bands***
- Opening and closing of IPW for the PCS and Cell bands
- Publication of updated list of available licences for the general ASL window for the PCS and Cell band***
- Opening and closing of general ASL window for all applicants for the PCS and Cell bands

** Radio licences under the Access Licensing Framework are made available once the Standard Radio System Plans are published by ISED. Key dates identified in this table and the IPW process do not apply to the Radio Licences made available through the Access Licensing Process.
